Hi Everyone!
Natural Kindness has shifted gears in our project plan! Unfortunately, the initial school we were planning to renovate had a few internal issues within the village due to COVID-19, so we were not able to work with them. Luckily, we have found a new school that we will be working on renovating! We have finally donated a all of the proceeds and funds to this school, and our project has officially kicked off! Here are a few pictures and a sneak peek of what we are working on!
I’m so excited to share our journey, it going to be a fun one!
Until next time,
Kylie ?
Dear Ms. Kylie De Croos,
We can not express enough how thankful we are for everything you have done for our students. The interactive board is an amazing teaching- learning material and the partitions assisted us in compartmentalizing the classrooms. The classroom looks much more spacious and in order. The subjects which were boring and alien before, have now become authentic and meaningful. Student’s enthusiasm is apparent as they run to the activity room whenever they get an opportunity to study using the interactive board. Interactive board has made even the teachers’ lives easier as now they can easily bring the world to the classroom and take a break from the monotonous chalk and talk method. Thank you everyone for supporting us and this means so much. The students who come to our school are limited to a small village, situated in the Negombo coastal line, Sri Lanka. Every step you have taken to help us has and will help the students immensely in changing their lives. Education is the only possibility for a better future for our students. Therefore Duwa Junior school is so grateful for the donations, you have made and will always value the effort you have taken. We hope that you will help us further for the development of our school and we look forward to hear from you in near future. Thank you.
Hello Staff and Students!
I am so touched receiving this message from you guys! I am so glad I was able to help in whatever way that I could, students deserve a proper education in a fun and interactive environment, and I am beyond grateful I was able to provide that to you all!
Seeing the outcome of this project and the smiling kids faces brought joyful tears to my eyes.
I am so excited I get to start phase two of our project and introduce the new world of technology to these children.
I hope to meet with the staff and students soon!
